As I was taking my weekly walk, I noticed this old Police Mini Station in Capitol Park, located in Downtown Detroit. The Mini Stations have been in the city since the 1970s, mainly in the neighborhood (another mini station is located in the Dexter-Elmhurst area on Detroit's west side). These stations were originally opened to have a police presence in the neighborhoods. Many are now closed, but a few are still open, including a new one at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.
