This picture is of some Tiger Cartoons in the '30s, taken at TigerFest. My favorite cartoons include the Tiger jumping excitedly on the left, and the Tiger and Cardinal on the right. These cartoons were originally printed during the Tigers 1935 run to the World Series Championship . I read on the little box in the center of the cartoons that the Tigers provided a welcome distraction from the Depression in 1935. I think that the cartoonists did a great job with these cartoons. These cartoons make me smile when I see them, especially the ones I mentioned as my favorites. Well, more later or tomorrow.
