TigerFest Blog '10
This picture I post today was taken at TigerFest at Comerica Park yesterday. I like this ice sculpture, especially the two Tigers on the left and right. I had a good time, and made a day of it by going to breakfast beforehand, and to Church afterward. I enjoyed all the informative Q&A Sessions, which were broadcast on all the televisions across the stadiums, so people waiting in line for pictures or autographs could watch and listen while waiting. I enjoyed getting autographs and pictures, as well. THis was my fifth TigerFest. I've been going since 2006, when it was at Joe Louis Arena. It was a little cold, but not as cold as last year's 'fest, where it was downright polar, with temperature was in the teens or low 20s with lower windchills. There were lines, but many moved quickly, especially the line for the Photo Area. The longest line I experienced was at one of the Autograph Lines at the Beer Hall/Tiger Den area, where I waited almost 2 hours for an autographs. I was my usual patient self and listened to the radio while waiting my turn. There was a lot to see and do at TigerFest, as usual. I hope you all like this picture. I'll try to post more within the coming days. Well, more later or tomorrow. Lauren
