It looks like Dan Gilbert is trying to expand his empire here in Detroit. He's prepping to buy Greektown Casino, which is a short walk away from the headquarters of Quicken Loans, the company he owns, along with other buildings in the Downtown area. I think that this will be a pretty good deal if it goes through. I go to church near the casino, and I have noticed over the past 4-6 months or so that charter bus traffic has gone down at Greektown (private Casino trips), due to new casinos in Ohio. I hope that when Gilbert gets the casino, that the traffic will once again pick up, and I'll see even more people going to and from the casino (and hopefully to Church, as well!)
